Firenze sud is the where most of the Florentines reside, which then of course stretches towards Bagno a ripoli, Grassina, Chianti and Rufina. Now since there is a big movement of students in Florence both from Italy and abroad, even the Firenze sud area is getting a touch of outsiders. This area still has lower accommodation costs and by the end of it is not too far from the city center with the bus. There are plenty of restaurants here as well as bars and discs so don’t think you are far away from the happening places. The Joyce and Chioschino are about 15 to 20 minutes away while bar- restaurants like Bounty are right in this locality. Try out the famous Otel disc. A happening place and always full of people, it is not too far away from the Saschall.
