I was very pleased with the Apartment Rosa and its owner, Francesco. The apartment was immaculate, well equipped and cozy. It is a lovely choice for a single person or couple. Francesco was such a gracious host from the booking process, to my arrival and departure. He was very efficient, friendly and answered all of my questions in a timely mannger.
I was also very impressed with the "extra touches"...chocolates on the nightstands in the bedroom and in the living, a large choice of DVD movies (great choices of movies and even a synopsis of each film) and classical music compilations to enjoy provided by the host. There is also Internet/WIFI and a computer with small desk.
The apartment is conveniently located and in walking distance to restaurants, the supermarket, post office, the lively Santa Croce piazza and bars....speaking of bars, it can get a bit rowdy at night when students or locals are returning home from the bars in the area. However, in the month I was staying there, there were only a couple of nights where the noise outside lasted after 11pm and there was a party taking place inside the building once so I could hear the partygoers in a nearby apartment. There are quite a few students in the building of the apartment but, overall, I didnt find this to be a nightly occurence and the neighbours were respectful and mostly quiet. If you are a student, you will love this apartment considering the amount of students in the area.
