The apartment is located inFlorence, in the neighbourhood San Frediano named by the florentins “ The Oltrarno” together with the other two neighbourhoods Santo Spirito and San Niccolò , to indicate the part of the city standing on the left side of theArnoriver . Old and popular quarter full of craft and antique workshops San Frediano has become a development area thanks to the numerous restorations and to the presence of new business.
Very convenient to reach by foot the historical center ( it is possible to use the electric bus too) the quarter is very near the area of Porta al Prato and Borgo Ognissanti reachable by foot crossing theArnoriver over the Vespucci bridge . At short distance stands all the touristic area which goes from theOldBridgeto Porta Romana square passing through Palazzo Pitti and Boboli gardens . The neighbourhood is reach of shops and facilities of all sort . It is possible to park the car in the area of Viale Ariosto and-or Piazza Tasso .

The apartment is set in Via del Leone, in the heart of the neighbourhood at short distance to the Carmine church , famous for the Brancacci chapel where you can admire the Masaccio’s frescoes .
