Scams, while not particularly occurring often, are mostly attempted on the more clueless.seeming tourists. Fort instance, taxis might try to set the meter for “out of town” instead of leaving the rate on local charge.
Some restaurants might try and add extra items on your bill that you didn’t order or double charge the client’s credit card. Of course it is very rare that it happens, but its always better to be on the safer side and be aware of the every possibility 🙂
Even on the buses or trains, especially when there are excess of passengers, be careful for pickpockets. Just be aware where your bags are and if possible keep your pockets zipped. There have been cases of pickpocketing even though now it is dropping since the police are taking sufficient measures.
