With Bollywood Hits that found the road all the way to the red carpet like Lagaan, Monsoon Wedding and the latest, Slum dog Millionare, have made it a point that even the Indian cultures have something to offerto the western world.

The latest edition just successfully terminated this month, celebrated its 10th anniversary. A 7 day experience in company of producers, directors and actors along with an opportunity to watch the recent documentaries and feature films. An occasion to meet famous and undervalued stars, that are right here ready to answer any of your questions. This December saw the presentation of Satyajit Ray‘s creations. One of the greatest directors of the 20th century in the Bollywood industry was right here, to project his “River to River Digichannel Audience” award winning productions. The films will be shown in the Odeon and the Spazio Uno in Florence.

During the weekend of the 4th and the 5th of December the moment was dedicated not only to Indian cinema but a meeting to discuss themes of this mystical nation. Thursday the 9th, offered the projection of short films with a maximum duration of 3 minutes. Not to forget that the whole event is accompanied by Indian cuisine directly from the famous Indian restaurant Maharaja in Fiesole.
