San Gimignano near Florence

Known as the city of Towers, this locality is being more commonly frequented in recent years. Since it is not far from Siena as well it is perfect to pass by.

It lies on a hilltop 334 meters from sea level. The 10th century town took its name from the Holy Bishop of Modena, St. Gimignano. The Duomo, the People’s Palace, The Museum of Sacred Art, The Archeological Museum and the Church of Saint Agostino are the places I advice you to take a look at. Here are some indicators for how to get there as well. Have a great trip!
