Personally speaking its the most comfortable way to move around Florence. The cars are not allowed to come into the city center(see article “avoid fines in Florence”) so its better to leave them safely parked and opt for a bike ride exploring this artistic city. Riding past the Davide, visiting the famous Ponte Vecchio and going up to Michelangelo square just in time to enjoy the sun setting beyond the Old Bridge along with the magnificent view of the city. Bike rentals points are well spread starting right from the SMN station. Take note of a few:
