Giropranzando takes place today, an event held in Pontedera in Pisa in order to promote the typical local foods and wines. A perfect rip to do some wine tasting and discover the Tuscan cuisine. So it is just the occasion to visit before watching the lovely Leaning tower of Pisa.
It is like a tour with stops at the best restaurants in Pontedera. Each restaurant will welcome guests with a side event: exposure of wasps historical aerial photographs and painting.
Before getting to Pontedera, go to the Tourist Information Office website in case of emergencies since the office will be closed. The event will take place in these streets: via Saffi, via Marconcini, via delle Colline and via Gotti
There is a 20 euro entry for adults, 10 euros for children and a free entry for those below 6 years of age.
How to get there: If you have a vehicle, than it is just a 24km drive from Pisa. Click here for the route. Or else there are trains that take you there as well. Always check the train timings to make sure you don’t miss the last one.
