Usually from 30th of April to 8th of May every year is celebrating the Handicraft exhibition in Florence. It never gets boring when it comes to watching all the innovative designs of architects, craftsmen, fashion designers and interior designing directly from the producer to the consumer. The exhibition is open from 8 am to 11 pm everyday with the exception of the 8 pm closure on the last day.
The Fortezza da Basso as always, hosts the event and has all the necessary information for both visitors and exhibitioners on www.mostraartigianto.it
The ticket costs 5 – 10 euros on weekends while on Monday to Friday it is just for 3 Euros (check the web site for prices updates). Do not miss out on this event since there is a lot to see and to learn from.
If you are coming with a car i suggest you first check for a spot in the Viali, which is basically the parking spots on main road. Please do not use the parking spots marked in white or yellow unless you are not bothered in getting a fine :D. The other option is to use the parking of the Fortezza itself or the station of Santa Maria Novella. Buon divertimento!
