Once again this year and yet another sign of the so much awaited Spring, in Florence is held a colorful and busy show sale of flowers near Piazza della Libertà right on the beginning of Via Bolognese at the Giardino dell’ Orticoltura (ITA).
The garden with its steel and glass greenhouse is one of the hidden green corners of Florence and between the 25th of April and the 1st of May it’s house of this brief & followed by locals event.
Don’t miss the garden also called Giardino del Parnaso with it’s original stairway followed along by a dragon-statue carved in the rock.
Follow up the stairs and reach Via Trieste where you can admire a very pleasant view of the Florence city center. You can access the garden and the greenhouse from both Via Bolognese 17 or Via Trieste.
