Traveling around, with so many places to go and time running out, one of  the solutions can be  a quick meal .  Please note: a quick meal doesn’t necessarily mean that it won’t be tasty. What do you think I am here for :)…Trust me on this one. My unstoppable research for quick meals  is now concentrated on a few spots well spread around the city, in this way you do not have to spend too much time and muscle to find it 🙂

Other than the craze for the Italian delicacies like pizza and calzone, something most closely linked to a quick meal, is a panino. Panino is the Italian term for a sandwich as most of you know. Although, the panino which I will suggest  you, is not just a sandwich stuffed with a slice of cheese and a some salami. You see there is an art in every form of life.  Everything we do can reach its perfection. This is what I am looking for and this is what i want to communicate to those who follow our blog.  Lets take a look at the most delicious paninotecas you will find within Florence.

Via dell’Ariento: The place is called BONDI FOCACCINE. Lovely place. You can personalize your panino with every possible topping. Ill tell you the best one I had till now. To the focaccia I added a bit of cooked onions, red spicy cream, some fresh cheese and wild boar…mmmmm.. it was delicious!Try it!

I Fratellini:  This is more of a classy paninoteca. Owned by two brothers, this place offers you a panino together with a glass of wine of your choice. The good part is that the cost is very worth what they offer and its not much at all. The street is Via dei Cimatori 38

Near the Saschall complex: Right outside the Saschall where many interesting concerts take place, there is a panino stall just opposite to the complex. Though its a simple stall believe me they make some tasty Tuscan style panini. The guy is really funny too so it will be a good experience for sure. There is another similar stall if you find yourselves near the stadium of Florence. It lies on the street passing right between the stadium and the swimming pool called Piscine Costoli in  Viale Pasquale Paoli.

Lampredotti: Ever tried the Panino Lampredotto? Now thats what I’m talking about when I speak of a Tuscan panino. To try this particular one I got just the place for you. Another stall like shop located near to Via Calzaiuoli.
