The apartment is set in Via Pippo Spano on the corner of Viale Don Minzoni in an elegant 19th-century building on the first floor with elevator . It is an exclusive flat in Art Nouveau style with high decorated ceilings , period fittings and old parquet floor . From a large entrance you get in a double bedroom and a spacious living room with balcony,finely decorated with antique and fine furniture and in second bedroom with two single beds . On the left side open a large fully equipped kitchen with dining table and a third single bedroom . On the back ,along a small passageway, open a fourth single bedroom with french bed and two bathrooms,one with shower,the other with bathtub and shower . Last,through a staircase, open a large mansard which serves as laundry, storage or ironing room. All the bedrooms have soundproof windows. The apartment is about 190 sq.meters and can accommodate six people. An extra bed can be placed in one of the bedrooms if required.
The apartment is set in Florence, close to Libertà Square, in Viale Don Minzoni, an important avenue joining the city center to the area of the Stadium towards Fiesole. The city center is easily reachable by foot (San Marco square is at about 10 minutes of walking distance) or using the numerous buses running along the road or the surrounding streets .
For visitors coming by car the location is very convenient for the presence, at three minutes, of the public parking lot “Il Parterre ”.
The neighbourhood is well served with shops and services of all sort: one large supermarket Esselunga is set in Via Masaccio is a 4 minute walk and a bit farther the local market of general foods in Piazza delle Cure. The area is quiet and safe. It is also one of the most prestigious quarters in the city with elegant buildings dated back to the end of the 19th-century.
Points of interest nearby include the Da Basso Fortress exhibition center, Congressi Palace, Palaffari, Rectorate, Arts and Architecture faculties, central police station, botanical garden, Giardino dell’Orticultura and the San Marco Museum.
