Lorenzo was very helpful and accommodating.However,the noise in this apartment was intolerable,with the downstairs restaurant open until 1 am and the noisy family upstairs. We had to move after one month.

The apartment is in a really nice neighbourhood, with shops and cafes very close by. The street is quiet with little traffic and tourists, although visitors to the Trattoria next door can occasionally be noisy in the evening. The rooms are particularly spacious and it is very comfortably furnished, with a small but very well laid out and equipped kitchen. We managed very well as 2 couples staying for a long unexpected break, since the two main bedrooms are at opposite ends of the apartment and each have their own bathroom. There are also nice touches such as an umbrella, art and guide books and smart decorative objects and pictures. Wi-fi, TV and DVD player all added to the feeling of a home from home. We were made to feel very welcome. Overall it is run to an excellent standard with efficient and very friendly service.

The apartment is just as nice as it looks online.  It is quite large and the kitchen is well stocked.  The wireless internet is great.  Everything is clean and well maintained.  There was a light out in the hallway and Lorenzo had it fixed the first day.  It is about a 15 minute walk from the Duomo.  I would highly recommend this apartment!

We stayed twelve days at Via San Gallo, Apartment 1, and loved our home away from home.  It was so comfortable to come home to, and we enjoyed the location very much. We got to know most of the merchants on the street below and were delighted daily by our morning cappuccinos sitting outside, or standing at the bar if you prefer, at La Creola/Café Mokariko (also great for dinner or drinks). Our stay was during a heat wave when it was often over 35 degrees, and we were attending the Ultimate Frisbee World Championships, so the air-conditioning, freezer and drying rack were very much appreciated. It was nice to have two separate bedrooms and bathrooms. Florence was wonderful, and the San Gallo apartment felt like real life Florence! Make sure you turn right at the bottom of the stairs and visit the Piazza and the two arches there. Ciao!

It was very warm and agreeable in the apartment - we really enjoyed it there! The front bedroom to the street is a bit noisy - but the other one is perfect calm! The kitchen is well equipped and there were some lovely books there, too!

It could have been a bit closer to the cathedral and baptistery - the buses had changed there schedule so it was a bit difficult for us...

We had a most wonderful stay at your lovely apartment. We are family of 5, 2 grown up children and a 11 yr old boy. Let me start by comparing our experience at your apartment to the one we went to in Venice after Florence. The apartment at venice was beautiful, but smaller in size. But, on arrival, we had to request for blankets because we were only given top sheets to cover ourselves in the night, the reason was that it was warm weather and they didnt want tenants to use blankets and then turn on the air con full blast. Everyone was given only one pillow each, no more even upon request. We were reminded about saving electricity etc... Hot water was intermittent, shower was weak. That was our experience in venice. Although it didnt affect our stay so much, but I would try another place next time.

Now, for Florence, my daughter commented that San Gallo had a more homely feeling about it. We loved san gallo for its space, comfortable beds, oversupply of pillows, linen and towels! It was very clean, tastefully and beautifully decorated, with books to help us translate from Italian to English, and even a hi fi system. Not forgetting free internet which was a bonus! We were kept warm in the night, and had the coolness of the air conditioning when we got back after a long hot day out. Plenty of hot water, with good water pressure for a rehreshing shower and well equipped and sparkling clean bathrooms with hairdryer and even soap and shampoo!  The kitchen was spacious enough for us to do some simple cooking. Lorenzo and Francesca, thank you for your generosity.

Lorenzo was great help! We didnt have to wait very long for him after we arrived at the apartment, and he helped us with our luggage up to the apartment. He even came to see us off and got a taxi for us to go to the train station. It was great meeting you Lorenzo, your warm hospitality made our stay all the more memorable!

And last but not least, it was wonderful to just walk down and go next door, to Titto's restaurat for a great meal, when it rained one night! The food was absolutely delicious! Their homemade pesto was the best we ever had! And the service, out of this world!

With no hesitation, i would recommend this apartment, and would myself go back there, if i have the chance to visit this beautiful country again!
